I had the wonderful experience to do some modeling and lead the modeling and surfacing of hero assets for the CG aspects of The Nicki Minaj: Pink Friday 2 World Tour.
Assets created for this live stage show took a lot of influence from AI and fan-generated imagery, which made for an interesting challenge. A lot of the provided reference on first glance appeared futuristic and sleek, or incredibly intricate, but when you looked closer, none of it actually made sense. It was a lot of fun interpreting these images and making them work in 3D space.

Stylized version of Nicki with exaggerated proportions and ornate costume. I worked together with another artist to model Nicki and we manipulated purchased ornaments in order to meet the tight deadline.
I was responsible for her face, hair, torso and shoulder pieces, head piece, collar and nails. This includes the splitting out and capping of the Nicki-bot pieces.
